Injury accident shuts northbound traffic Friday afternoon on Interstate 35

A wreck shut northbound Interstate 35 in Kansas City for about an hour Friday afternoon.

The accident happened about 12:40 p.m. Several persons sustained non life-threatening injuries, police said. Details of what caused the accident were not immediately available.
