Ten injured in traffic accident during police chase at Truman Road and Hardesty Avenue

A 12-year-old boy ejected from a truck was among 10 people injured in a traffic accident Saturday night in Kansas City.

The accident occurred about 7:25 p.m. at Truman Road and Hardesty Avenue, when a driver being pursued by police was involved in a wreck.

At least four vehicles were involved in the accident, police said. Six adults and four children were injured and taken to a hospital.

The driver who was being pursued by police was a suspect in a domestic violence incident, police said. He was arrested at the scene of the accident.
