DUI saturation patrols planned in Johnson County

Two cities in Johnson County will have special patrols this weekend looking for people who are driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Overland Park police announced they will conduct a DUI saturation patrol beginning at 10 p.m. Friday.

The enforcement effort will run until 2 a.m. Saturday.

Mission police will conduct a saturation patrol from 6:45 to 11 p.m. Saturday.

Officers involved will have “DUI Task Force” magnet displayed on their patrol vehicle’s door.
