Woman is killed in rollover wreck in Kansas City, North
A woman died Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover accident at Interstate 29 and Mexico City Avenue, near Kansas City International Airport.
The crash was reported about 12:15 p.m. The victim’s name has not been released.
According to initial reports, a red Chevrolet S10 was traveling on the entrance ramp to northbound I-29 from Mexico City Avenue when it traveled off the roadway. The driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to leave the road and overturn down an embankment.
The driver was ejected. She died at the scene.
