Maker Faire Kansas City returns this weekend
Back this weekend for a fourth year, Maker Faire Kansas City has grown to become one of the largest events of its kind in the country.
About 350 inventors, visionaries and others with something to show off will fill Union Station and spill outside of the building. Attendance is projected to exceed 13,000 this year.
Dale Dougherty, founder of Maker Faire and Make Magazine, will speak at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Adult admission is $12 per day or $19.50 for a weekend pass. Admission to Science City is included. Tickets are available at the station box office or online.
