Victim identified in Overland Park motorcycle fatality

A motorcycle crash killed a 24-year-old Overland Park man early Tuesday morning near 153rd Street and Quivira Road, police said.

R. “Brock” Rodgers was wearing a helmet, police said. Initial indications are that speed was a factor in the 3 a.m. crash, they said. The department’s traffic unit is continuing to investigate the city’s first traffic fatality of 2014.
