Man killed on I-70 in Independence identified

A Kansas City man who was killed Friday night while trying to cross Interstate 70 in Independence was identified Monday as 57-year-old Cochise Goshon.

Police said Goshon was a passenger in a car that struck the center concrete divider near Lee’s Summit Road about 11:45 p.m. Goshon exited and tried to cross the westbound lanes but was struck by another vehicle.
