Suspicious death at water park under investigation

Kansas City police are investigating a death that occurred Sunday afternoon at a water park.

Patrols were dispatched on an ambulance call around 1 p. m. to 7101 Longview Road where the Bay Water Park operates. Police were notified upon arrival that the person had died.

Police are treating the incident as a suspicious death pending a determination of the cause of death by the Jackson County medical examiner.
