Bonner Springs police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed two men Thursday night.

The victims were cousins from Oklahoma who were in the Kansas City area for a construction job, according to police.

Police said the wreck occurred just before 10 p.m. Thursday at 118th Street and Martinek Lane.

Police said they were in a pickup truck heading south on Martinek and lost control as they crested a hill. The truck veered off the road and struck several trees.

Neither man was wearing a seat belt, police said.
