Gardner man found dead in Hillsdale Lake
A 57-year-old Gardner man was found dead in Hillsdale Lake Sunday, the morning after he was riding a personal watercraft there.
Timothy R. Jackson was found in about three feet of water near shore on the west side of the lake about 12:30 p.m. He was wearing a life jacket.
A friend told authorities that he and Jackson had been riding personal watercraft at the Jayhawker Marina on Saturday. The friend left about 5:30 p.m., but Jackson said he wanted to stay out.
Authorities were trying to determine how Jackson died.
