Munday on Monday: Germ season

A germophobe I’m not, but yet —

How wide contagion casts its net!

So when you coughed, you saw me flee;

“It’s allergies!” you plead, but gee!

The merest rasp or stuffy nose

From anyone, and I’ll suppose

The very worst: that you are sick

With cold or flu — so take your pick.

A germophobe I’m not? Oh, well;

This time of year, you couldn’t tell.
