College student from Oak Grove found dead

A Missouri college student from the Kansas City area died Sunday in Maryville.

Freshman Haily Hayes died in her campus residence, according to officials at Northwest Missouri State University. No foul play is suspected, they said, although her death is being investigated by the Nodaway County coroner’s office as well as university and Maryville police.

Hayes was a freshman studying business management and was a member of Sigma Kappa sorority.
