Munday on Monday: Bad timing

The angst on youthful faces bursts

With timing of the snow accursed

For those who’d hoped for day at home

To sit inside and read their phone.

It’s so unfair! They rage their fists

At day from class they think they’ve missed.

It shocks! It stuns! Chagrins and numbs!

When snowfall on a weekend comes.
