Five people injured, one critically, in Overland Park crash

A crash involving three vehicles in Overland Park Sunday evening seriously injured four persons and critically injured a fifth person.

The vehicles collided about 7 p.m. at 75th Street and Metcalf Avenue. The people injured in the crash were taken to hospitals. One person sustained life-threatening injuries. The others sustained serious injuries.

Police closed various lanes near the intersection while they investigate the collision.
