A misty Friday in Kansas City will turn into a frigid weekend

Expect rain and mist Friday until around noon, with a high in the low 40s most of the day and into the evening.

The National Weather Service says temperatures will begin dropping Saturday morning, falling to around 20 by 5 p.m.

Look for a sunday, cold Sunday, with a high near 23 and a low of 15.

But then, a warmup is expected to start Monday, with temperatures returning to the 40s, and possibly reaching the high 40s toward the end of the work week.
