Munday on Monday: Coffee on the beach

IN THE NEWS: Hundreds of sealed coffee cans wash up on a Florida beach.

As far as the horizon reaches

Cans of coffee dot the beaches.

So in the seas, there’s no mistake:

Shark and shad are wide awake.

But how do coffee cans en masse

Assume aquatic traits? Alas!

A mystery you may have noted:

Could these have clear from Java floated?

Went overboard from barge or steamer;

Perhaps the tide went out for creamer.
