Kansas City officers injured in late-night crash released from hospital
Two Kansas City police officers were hurt in a Friday hit-and-run accident.
The two officers’ patrol car was struck Christmas evening by a large white SUV. Authorities said the SUV ran through an intersection at a high rate of speed, collided with the patrol car, then left the scene of the accident.
It happened at 38th Street and Benton Boulevard. The two officers were treated at a hospital and released.
