A concrete truck overturned Tuesday afternoon, forcing the closure of southbound Interstate 35 in Kansas City, North.

The concrete truck crashed about 1:30 p.m. along southbound I-35 near Brighton Avenue. The truck overturned on its side, blocking all lanes of I-35.

Because of the closure, traffic quickly backed up beyond the Interstate 35/435 interchange.

All lanes were reopened at about 4:15 p.m.
