Munday on Monday: Sunset

Sunset

If the days

Are growing longer

(As they should have

For a week)

Then I’m waiting

For the sunsets

To show evidence

I seek.

And so far,

Disappointed,

I am watching

Say, at five;

Oh, when amid

The icy wind

Will later times

Arrive?

You may say

I’m too impatient,

But such chiding

I shall shun;

Can hardly tell

The sunset if

We rarely

See the sun!
