Overland Park man found after Silver Alert issued

The Overland Park Police Department on Saturday night cancelled a Silver Alert it had issued a few hours earlier.

Authorities had asked the public’s help in locating Paul Decker, a 72-year-old resident who last had been seen walking his dog at about 5:30 p.m. near 155th Street and Metcalf Avenue.

Decker was located at about 9:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of W. 149th Terrace, officers said, adding that he and his dog were ”doing fine.”
