If you’re headed to the Chiefs game at Arrowhead Sunday, you might want to pack a wet suit and a snorkle ... or at least a poncho.

According to the National Weather Service, we’re headed into a soggy Saturday and Sunday, with a 90 percent chance of rain expected Sunday.

“Patchy drizzle” is possible after midnight Friday, with a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the area Saturday.

Potential for thunderstorms will increase Saturday night and last all day Sunday.

Most areas in Kansas City will get between 1 and 2 inches of precipitation, according to the National Weather Service.

A high of 64 is predicted for Saturday, with a low in the mid-50s.

Sunday will be a bit cooler, with a high around 55 and a low in the upper-30s.

The rain will likely clear out by Monday, with clear, sunny skies predicted for early next week.
