Kansas City firefighters battle blaze that fully engulfed house
Firefighters battled a fire that fully engulfed a house in Kansas City and damaged a second one next door.
The fire was reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. Thursday at a house in the 2700 block of Belleview Avenue, just west of Southwest Boulevard.
Arriving firefighters reported that the house was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived. They also said that the fire had spread to a second house next door.
There were no initial reports of injuries.
