Kansas City International Airport is a busy place this weekend.
Airport officials say they expect more than 580,000 passengers to use KCI over the holidays, including an estimated 35,000 passengers who used the facility Dec. 19 — the busiest day of the season.
Nationally, more than 45 million people are expected to fly somewhere over the holiday week.
KCI officials are asking passengers to prepare for the crush by arriving 90 minutes for departure.
