Independence man killed in truck wreck

A 23-year-old Independence man was killed Saturday morning in a traffic crash on Missouri 210 near the Ameristar Casino.

Police said O’Shea Williams was westbound in a pickup truck when he lost control of the vehicle at North Eldon Avenue about 8:40 a.m. The truck crossed the concrete median, overturned and slid across the eastbound lanes before coming to a rest upside down. Williams was ejected and died at a hospital. Two adult male passengers in the truck received non-life-threatening injuries.
