Jacqueline Gill Washington will become president of Metropolitan Community College’s Business & Technology campus at the end of February.

MCC Chancellor Mark James said Friday that Washington, interim vice president for academic affairs at a Tarrant County College campus in Hurst, Texas, will fill the Kansas City position. She had been vice president of community and industry education services since 2010 and had worked for the Tarrant County system since 1999.

James said Washington’s experience in working with K-12 partners, career centers, career and technical education, and business/industry workforce development training will bring a broad background to the MCC campus that focuses on work-readiness training.
