Local Pig teams with Harvesters to provide meatballs for hungry
The Local Pig will offer its holiday meatballs for Harvesters again this year.
This is the second year that the Local Pig has partnered with Harvesters — The Community Food Network to provide food to the hungry.
For every box of two dozen Italian-style meatballs that sells, the Local Pig will donate a box to Harvesters.
The holiday meatball box costs $24 and can be ordered online at the Local Pig’s e-commerce website; via email at thelocalpigkc@gmail.com or by calling the East Bottoms store at 816-200-1639 or the Westport store at 816-531-2337.
The boxes will be available for pickup from either store between Dec. 18 and 24.
The deadline to order the boxes is Dec. 18.
