KCK police investigate fatal crash at I-35 and Cambridge Circle

Kansas City, Kan., police investigated a fatal traffic crash Tuesday night at Interstate 35 and Cambridge Circle.

The crash was reported about 7:15 p.m. along the edge of I-35, less than a mile from the state line. It appeared only one vehicle was involved, police said.

Officers found a man in his early fifties dead at the scene. Another person was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Police said it appeared that a vehicle was traveling north on Cambridge Circle when it rolled over, ejecting one of the occupants.

Police did not immediately release the name of the man who died in the crash, pending notification of family members and verification of his identity.
