Leader named for Wyandotte Health Foundation

The Wyandotte Health Foundation is getting a new leader.

Cathy Harding, a veteran of health care safety net organizations, will become president and chief executive officer of the foundation in July. She will succeed Bill Epperheimer, who is retiring.

Since 2007, Harding has served as executive director of the Kansas Association for the Medically Underserved, the Primary Care Association of Kansas.

The Wyandotte Health Foundation, formed in 1997, makes grants for health care efforts on behalf of uninsured and under-insured Wyandotte County residents.
