Munday on Holiday: A day for thanks
A day for thanks
Amid the turkey, rolls and dressings
We pause to count our many blessings.
In gratitude, let every guest
Reflect how each is truly blessed.
And even those — the surly cranks —
Who scorn this day and don’t give thanks:
Some tasty morsels still befall ’em;
“Blessed ingrates,” we shall call ’em!
