Light snow awaits early Thanksgiving travelers
Drivers getting a jump on Thanksgiving travel might encounter a snow dusting Wednesday morning.
A quick-moving winter system is expected to bring light snow with minor accumulations to northern and eastern Missouri, according to the National Weather Service.
While a trace or two-tenths of an inch of snow is possible in Kansas City, north central and northeast Missouri could see up to one inch of snow.
Highs will be in the 40s both Tuesday and Wednesday and then in the 30s on Thursday. Highs will reach the 50s Friday and the beginning of the weekend.
