Man killed in Lee’s Summit motorcycle wreck is identified

A motorcyclist killed Monday in a Lee’s Summit crash was identified by police as 22-year-old Branden E. Blayney.

Blayney, of Lee’s Summit, was killed about 5:15 p.m. Monday when his motorcycle and another vehicle collided at the interchange of Missouri 291 and U.S. 50.

The other driver, a minor, suffered minor injuries.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the wreck to call the traffic unit at 816-969-1765.
