Lenexa man killed in Kansas wreck on U.S. 24
A 71-year-old Lenexa man was killed Monday in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 24 in Jefferson County, Kan.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said Ronald C. Heugel was westbound in a 2008 Scion about three miles east of Kansas 237 at 3 p.m. when he drove onto the shoulder, over-corrected and slid into a ditch. The car rolled and came to rest on a high-tension wire.
Heugel was wearing a seat belt.
