Independence police seek help finding endangered girl

A 15-year-old Independence girl is missing and considered endangered.

Independence police are seeking help locating Mahogany L. Washington, who is black, 5-feet-3-inches tall and 130 pounds with blond shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes. She has a heart tattoo on her right rear hip and a camel tattoo on one toe.

She has been missing since an incident at 4 a.m. Nov. 2 in the 1400 block of Baker Drive in Independence. Washington suffers from depression and it is unknown if she is taking her medication. She may be in the company of her boyfriend, 17-year-old Michael Davis of St. Joseph.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Independence police at 816-325-7300.
