Driver is killed after crashing on I-435 in Kansas City, North

A motorist was killed Tuesday afternoon after losing control of his vehicle, overturning several times and crashing on Interstate 435 near Missouri 152 in Kansas City, North, police said.

The accident was reported just after 1 p.m. The name of the driver has not been released. Police continued their investigation Wednesday.

According to police, the motorist was speeding southbound on I-435 when he lost control of the vehicle between Northeast 96th Street and Missouri 152. The sedan traveled into the median, overturned several times and ejected the driver.

The motorist was taken to a hospital, where he died.
