The Navy’s Blue Angels coming to KC next summer

U.S. Navy Blue Angels pilots will visit Kansas City next week to prep for their airshow in 2015, according to a news release from the KC Aviation Expo and Air Show.

During the “preseason visit,” two Blue Angel pilots will visit with KC air show officials to talk logistics and start the planning process.

The annual KC Aviation Expo & Air Show will take place Aug. 22 and 23rd of next year, with tickets on sale next month.

A press conference start at 8:30 a.m. upon the pilots’ arrival Nov. 17 at the General Aviation Terminal of the Charles B. Wheeler Airport.
