One killed in I-435 wreck in Shawnee

One person was killed in a Thursday morning traffic crash on Interstate 435 in Shawnee.

The one-vehicle crash was reported about 6:30 a.m. Thursday on the interstate at Johnson Drive.

Two lanes of northbound I-435 were closed as troopers from the Kansas Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
