One person killed in accident on westbound I-70; highway closed at Lee’s Summit Road

One person was killed and westbound Interstate 70 was shut down Wednesday night after a multi-vehicle accident.

The accident occurred about 9 p.m. just before the Blue Ridge Cutoff.
