Troost Avenue bus routes to be altered during construction
A construction project along Troost Avenue will force the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority to alter two bus routes.
Troost will close Monday between 24th and 27th streets for about two months.
The closure affects the Troost MAX Green Line and the 25-Troost bus routes.
During the closure, the northbound Troost Max buses will travel their regular route to 27th and Troost and then go west on 27th, north on Campbell Street and west on 25th Street, where they will resume their regular route.
Southbound Troost MAX buses will travel their regular route to 25th and Campbell, where they will turn south on Campbell, east on 27th and then south on Troost, where they will resume their regular route.
Northbound 25-Troost buses will travel their regular route to 27th and Troost, go west on 27th, north on Campbell, east on 24th and then north on Troost where they will resume their regular route.
Southbound buses will travel their regular route to 24th and Troost, go west on 24th, south on Campbell, east on 27th and south on Troost, where they will resume their regular route.
