Munday on Monday: Time change

Of gizmos ’round the house I’ve lots

Whose timers read an hour off

And have for months (because, I find,

Too cumbersome to set the time.)

My patience might as well be tossed

(And anyway, the manual’s lost.)

But overnight — just now I checked:

Again they flash the time correct!

A miracle? A mystery?

I cannot say, but look and see;

So hold your ire, curb your peeve —

I’ve won five months of clock reprieve!
