Smithville High School student is charged with molesting two children
The Clay County prosecutor’s office has charged a Smithville High School senior with first-degree child molestation in connection with incidents involving the children of a family friend.
Prosecutors have charged Jacob Arnold, 18. Arnold is accused of inappropriately touching two sons of a family friend.
Arnold appeared in court last week, entered a not-guilty plea and was released on bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 5.
