Wreck snarls Interstate traffic in south KC

Emergency crews were on the scene of a rollover traffic crash on Interstate 435 at Wornall Road on Friday morning.

The wreck involving several vehicles came in the westbound lanes of the interstate just before 9 a.m. Friday, creating a large backup in traffic. Traffic was being diverted off the interstate onto Wornall for the morning rush hour.

One vehicle was on its top, but police are reporting only minor injuries.
