Art competition will benefit the Penn Valley Park Conservancy
A four-day “paint-off” May 7-10 in Penn Valley Park will offer cash prizes and benefit the Penn Valley Park Conservancy.
The Plein Air Fest will culminate in an auction at the Buttonwood Art Space, 3013 Main St.
“Plein air” is French for “open air.”
The competition will ask artists to capture the beauty of the park on paper or canvas. Three timed competitions will also be held. There will be $4,000 in prizes awarded, and auction proceeds will benefit the conservancy.
