Pleasant Hill man killed in crash

A 29-year-old Pleasant Hill man was killed Wednesday morning in a head-on car wreck in Labette County in southeastern Kansas.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said Dustin Ryan Summers was southbound on U.S. 169 at 9:10 a.m. eight miles north of Cherryvale when his pickup truck crossed the center line, sideswiped one vehicle and struck a semi trailer head on. Summers was wearing a seat belt. There were no other injuries.
