1-year-old Kansas child dies after being shot at his home

Wichita police say a 1-year-old boy has died after being shot at his home.

The circumstances of the shooting Tuesday afternoon are still under investigation but police say it is believed to be an accident.

The child was rushed from his north Wichita home to the hospital after the shooting and died while receiving treatment.

Police say the child's mother and at least two other children were in the home at the time of the shooting.
