Chilly temperatures ahead this week for Kansas City

After a weekend that brought storms, this week is expected to be calm.

But there is a price — chilly temperatures. Today's high is forecast to hit 54 degrees.

Monday’s high hit 66 degrees, that will be as warm as it gets until the weekend.

Temperatures are expected to be in the 50s for the rest of the week until Saturday, when highs are expected to reach into the mid-60s, according to the National Weather Service.

Rain is possible into Wednesday, but no hazardous weather is expected.
