Small plane makes emergency landing in Miami County field

A single-engine plane made an apparent emergency landing Tuesday evening in a field in Miami County. There were no reported injuries.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the landing occurred shortly before 7 p.m. near 223rd Street and Gardner Road.
