Man injured in motorcycle wreck
Lee’s Summit police are investigating a motorcycle wreck that happened shortly after 7 p.m. in the 100 block of N.W. Lakewood Boulevard.
Police said the 27-year-old Lee’s Summit man driving the bike suffered serious leg and feet injuries.
Sgt. Chris Depue said the motorcycle was driven behind a home in the area when it struck a tree in a backyard.
The name of the injured biker was not available, police said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Police are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor.
