Missing Kansas City girl is found safe

Police searched an East Side neighborhood late Wednesday after a 12-year-old girl was reported missing. But the girl was located in the 2400 block of Brighton Avenue safe and in good health.

Naomi Lizbeth Hidalgo-Garcia had been reported missing about 9 p.m. in the 2300 block of Quincy Avenue.

Police were told she went outside to get something from a car and didn’t return.
