Pleasant Hill motorcyclist killed in accident
A Pleasant Hill man was killed Saturday afternoon when he was thrown from his motorcycle on Missouri 7.
Aaron C. Rash, 26, was heading northbound and slowed his motorcycle because of traffic. A car, also northbound on Missouri 7, struck the motorcycle, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Rash was thrown from the motorcycle into the southbound lane and was struck by a Ford truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a Jackson County medical examiner.
The incident happened near Stringtown Road, which is south of Missouri 150.
