Emergency repairs on Manchester Bridge disrupting eastbound I-70 from downtown

Emergency repairs have begun on the Manchester Bridge on eastbound Interstate 70, and the Missouri Department of Transportation says motorists should find an alternate eastbound route out of downtown.

Crews are performing an emergency deck repair on the center lane of the bridge. Repairs are expected to take several hours.
